2. Booking and Payment
2.1 Booking Process
To book a moving service, customers must contact Cape Canaveral Movers directly via our website, email, or phone. A written confirmation will be provided, which includes the details of the scheduled service, date, time, and an estimated cost. Your booking will be considered confirmed once we have received your acknowledgment.
2.2 Payment
Payment for services is required upon completion of the move, unless otherwise specified. Payment can be made by credit card, debit card, check, or any other method of payment authorized by Cape Canaveral Movers. A deposit may be required for long-distance or large moves.
2.3 Charges and Fees
Charges for moving services will depend on the type of service requested, the size of the move, the distance to be traveled, and the services included (such as packing, storage, etc.). A detailed breakdown of charges will be provided to you upon booking.
Additional fees may apply for delays, heavy lifting, stairs, or any unforeseen complications. These fees will be communicated to you in advance.
3. Customer Responsibilities
3.1 Accurate Information
Customers are required to provide accurate information regarding the size of the move, the items to be moved, and any special requests or requirements. Failure to provide accurate information may result in additional charges or delays.
3.2 Packing and Protection
While we offer full-service packing, customers must ensure that all items to be moved are properly prepared and packed. Any items that are not packed or secured may be subject to additional charges for handling.
3.3 Property Access
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that access to both the pickup and delivery locations is clear of obstructions. If the movers are unable to access the property due to unforeseen circumstances (such as blocked driveways or locked gates), additional charges may apply.
4. Liability and Insurance
4.1 Liability
Cape Canaveral Movers is committed to handling your belongings with the utmost care. However, in the event that an item is damaged or lost during the move, we will follow the industry-standard liability guidelines.
4.2 Insurance
We recommend that customers obtain full insurance coverage for valuable or fragile items. Our liability for loss or damage is limited to a specific amount, as detailed in our moving contract. For higher-value items, additional insurance may be required.
4.3 Exclusions
We are not liable for any damage to items that are improperly packed, disassembled, or are of excessive weight or size. Cape Canaveral Movers is also not responsible for any loss or damage due to weather conditions, accidents, or acts of nature.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
5.1 Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled move date. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the move may be subject to a cancellation fee.
5.2 Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule your move, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. We will do our best to accommodate your new requested date, subject to availability.
6. Delays and Unforeseen Circumstances
While we strive to maintain punctuality, Cape Canaveral Movers is not responsible for delays due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to traffic conditions, weather, accidents, or acts of God. We will inform you promptly of any significant delays and adjust the schedule accordingly.

8. Prohibited Items
Certain items cannot be moved for safety reasons. These include, but are not limited to:

9. Indemnification
By using our services, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cape Canaveral Movers, its employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from the use of our services, except for claims related to our own negligence or breach of these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Florida, United States. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Florida.
